The Southern Rainforest is a truly immense ecosystem within which a massive variety of animals and plants dwell. The Rainforest is home to a vast network of rivers and water ways that support a diverse array of semi-aquatic life, including the massive and strange piscivorous predator Spinosaurus aegyptiacus. These tropical river systems are also home to the male Spinosaurus maximus designated "Red-Sail," one of our most well-studied research subjects on the island.
